At all times, Bip undertakes to:
Listen to its Customers and Stakeholders with the aim of collecting – and anticipating where possible – their expectations/needs so as to be able to launch actions to meet them;
Protect the environment, preventing or minimising environmental impact, implementing actions to reduce energy consumption and seeking the lowest environmental impact linked to processes;
Comply with legal provisions, regulations and any other standard established with regard to safety, occupational hygiene and environmental protection;
Pursue the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes with a view to continuously improving performance;
Increase the knowledge, abilities and awareness of people working in-house or on their own behalf, making them aware of the need for compliance and informing them of the risks of non-compliance;
Mitigate its own impact on the environment from a life cycle perspective by selecting products and solutions based on environmental friendliness and analysis of their life cycle;
Implement increasingly effective systems of operational control, surveillance and measurement;
Check suppliers whose activities have an impact on the environment, both those who provide services on their own behalf and those who supply products/services;
Promote communication activities aimed within and outside the company, including as regards environmental performance;
The Management makes this Policy available to all Stakeholders and undertakes to review it when there are changes in the applicable provisions, following changes in the Context Analysis, or in any case on the occasion of a management review, in order to ascertain its relevance and consistency with its goals for improvement.
